What a delightful young musician Mr. Jolley is, he has astounding talent both as a musician and song writer. Whether you are in Seattle or Provo, be sure to keep your eye out for this rising talent. This is the first episode of the summer. Starting off the set is Modest Mouse with Gravity Rides Everything from their album The Moon and Antarctica which is my favorite track on the album and one of my all time favorite songs. Following Modest Mouse is My Morning Jacket with Dondante from the Okonokos double live album, at a wopping 11 minutes and 18 seconds this live version of the already epic number will, with out a doubt, blow your mind. If you make it that far Led Zeppelin with Going to California is next. Endind this short but sweet episode is a new favorite of mine, Handsome Furs with What We Had. My friend showed me Handsome Furs not too long ago and I have not stopped listening. They remind me of Sunset Rubdown, Arcade Fire, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. I would say they are my pick of the week.
